Club business shall be conducted at general membership meetings in a representative democratic fashion.
Article II: Membership
Section 1 - Voting Members
Any student currently attending The Ohio State University may become a voting member by presenting a payment of quarterly club dues to the treasurer. Dues for a voting member shall be in the amount of $5.00 per quarter, Autumn, Winter, and Spring Quarters only.
Section 2 - Honorary Members
Any member of The Ohio State University faculty, staff, or other employee, or alumni of The Ohio State University may become an honorary member by presenting payment of quarterly club dues to the treasurer. Dues for an honorary member shall be in the amount of $10.00 per quarter, Autumn, Winter, and Spring Quarters only.
Section 3 - Membership Period
Membership terms shall be for a period of one academic quarter, and begin when classes start Autumn, Winter, and Spring Quarters only.
Section 4 - Termination of Membership
Inappropriate conduct, which includes (but is not limited to): use of fire, being under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, dangerous weaponry, acts of stalking, and sexual harassment, as defined by university rules and regulations governing public conduct on campus shall be grounds for termination of membership.
Failure to pay dues shall terminate voting membership status, but not serve as grounds for termination of membership.
Termination of membership for above reasons does not require a vote by the membership, and may be carried out by notice in writing to said member by the coordinator.
If there is no conclusive evidence of inappropriate conduct (as listed above), but a member approaches the executive committee with concerns of inappropriate behavior of another member, a meeting of the voting membership may be held to deliberate whether said member’s claim is substantial grounds for termination. A petition will be drafted by the protestant member before they approach the executive committee. The petition must have at least 10 voting members' signatures, and must be presented at least 2 weeks in advance to the meeting in which the voting membership will vote on the issue.
If the above petition is correctly presented, 2/3 of the present voting membership shall be sufficient to terminate said accused member's membership.
Section 5 - Voting
All votes by the voting membership shall be carried out at general membership meetings, and are open to the full membership of the club. Voting shall be by a show of hands, with votes counted by two members of the Executive Committee who are selected beforehand by the President.
Article IV: Elections And Appointments

Section 3 - Interim Officers
An interim officer may be appointed by the above voting procedure at any time should the incumbent resign, be expelled as a member, or fail to carry out his or her duties for any reason.
